About Himalaya Pashmina
Himalaya Pashmina is a celebration of slow fashion, heritage, and Himalayan excellence. Founded with a mission to bring authentic pashmina shawls to the world, we work directly with artisan women in Nepal to preserve a rare craft that spans generations.
Each shawl in our collection is handwoven using 100% pure cashmere or yak wool, ethically sourced from high-altitude regions where softness and strength are born in nature.
What We Stand For
Real Materials: No blends. No synthetics. Only certified, natural pashmina and yak wool.
Handmade in Nepal: Every pashmina schal is woven on traditional looms by artisans, not machines.
Slow Luxury: We produce in limited batches to ensure quality, longevity, and ethical impact.
The Journey of Himalaya Pashmina
At Himalaya Pashmina, we believe that luxury is not just about high-end materials or exclusivity, but about the stories woven into every fiber. Our journey began with a vision to bring the timeless craftsmanship of Nepal’s Himalayan artisans to the world, offering authentic, sustainable, and luxurious pashmina that speaks to those who appreciate the finer things in life.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to share the beauty and heritage of handwoven pashmina with those who value authenticity, luxury, and the connection between nature, culture, and craftsmanship.
A Legacy of Craftsmanship
We work closely with skilled artisans from the Himalayan region of Nepal, where the finest pashmina wool is sourced from the undercoat of Chyangra goats that roam freely at altitudes of over 3,000 meters. This hand-spun wool is not only incredibly soft, but also incredibly warm, providing unparalleled comfort and elegance.
Every shawl, scarf, or accessory we offer is a labor of love. From the initial gathering of raw wool to the final hand-finishing of each piece, our artisans pour years of expertise and a deep respect for their craft into every creation. Each item is a reflection of our commitment to quality, sustainability, and slow fashion.
Sustainability and Slow Fashion
At Himalaya Pashmina, we are committed to sustainable luxury. Our products are ethically sourced, made from 100% natural fibers without any chemical treatments or synthetic blends. We believe in slow fashion—creating high-quality, timeless pieces that transcend trends and last for generations, rather than fleeting, mass-produced garments that harm our planet.
By working directly with artisan groups, we ensure fair wages and support communities, empowering women artisans who play a significant role in the handcrafting process.
Founder
I was born in Nepal, surrounded by mountains that shape both the land and our way of life. As a child, I remember my grandmother wearing a pashmina scarf in winter. Soft, warm, and full of stories. It was her quiet luxury.

Our Commitment to Luxury
For us, luxury is about more than just opulence. It’s about craftsmanship, heritage, and the stories that connect us.
Each Himalaya Pashmina piece is designed to be an investment in elegance, timeless style, and sustainable living. Our luxurious shawls are not just accessories; they are expressions of who we are and what we believe in.
Whether worn on a casual day out or as a statement piece for a special occasion, our pashmina scarves bring both comfort and class to any look.

When I moved to Germany in 2015, I discovered a new world that appreciated quality but often lacked connection to the craft and heritage behind what we wear. That’s when Himalaya Pashmina was born — to bring the authentic, handcrafted pashmina scarves of Nepal to Europe.
From the Chyangra goats high above 4,000 meters in the Himalayas to the skilled artisans who weave every thread by hand, our scarves carry generations of tradition, passion, and care.
