From Nepal, With Honesty

My name is Suresh Bista.

I grew up in Nepal, where Cashmere was never a luxury. I watched my grandmother wearing cashmere shawl that lasted decades. Then, later she gifted that same shawl to my mother as a reminder of her love, and everything she stood for. That stuck always in my head as a child, then life continued.

Then I came to Germany for my further studies. And after living here for a while I saw something familiar. Women here truly understands quality. Who could feel the difference between something real and something made to look real. That's when I realised, German women value's authenticity, craftsmanship, and the hands behind every piece.

But I also saw the problem. The German market is flooded with fake Cashmere and machine-made imitations. Beautiful packaging, empty promises, synthetic fibers sold in the name of Cashmere. That made me deeply sad.

Himalaya Pashmina was never a business plan for me. It was an emotion. A memory I carried with me everywhere I went.

And that is when I made a decision. I would not let the value of those artisans be forgotten. These are people who work day and night to preserve an ancient craft, weaving each shawl on the same loom their family has used for generations, finishing every piece carefully by hand , using pure Cashmere fiber from the Chyangra goat that lives high in the Himalayas of Nepal.

So I went back to Nepal. I visited the families I grew up knowing who makes Cashemere Shawls. I watched their hands work the same looms they always had. And I brought their craft here with full transparency, I did laboratory test of their Cashsmere fiber to prove it to everyone what they will Buy.

My vision is simple. To show the world who the true artisans behind this masterpiece really are and how much time they invest making each shawls. And also to preserve their craft against the flood of mass machine-made productions that have cheapened the name of Cashmere.

Every Pashmina at Himalaya Pashmina was made by those hands.

The Details

Our pashmina comes from the rare Chyangra goat, raised high in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. In this extreme altitude, the fleece grows impossibly fine, warm, and luxuriously soft, a quality the world knows as the finest cashmere. This is what makes our touch unforgettable.

Made on traditional looms and finished entirely by hand. Our pashmina is woven by third-generation artisans who carry forward a legacy of Himalayan craftsmanship. A lineage of skill, patience, and devotion in every thread.

The world celebrates Nepal for its rare mastery in handcraft. Our pashmina carries this legacy crafted by artisans whose skills are inherited, not learned, and perfected over generations of dedication.
